We at Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies run the business operations of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) in the Americas. Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality team, including Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Inspectors.
• Own site quality strategy and KPIs, driving performance improvement across all products and processes.
• Serve as the voice of the customer within the plant and advocate for zero‑defect manufacturing.
• Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
• Ensure proper use of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC across the organization.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, Five Why, and other problem‑solving methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction through Lean and Six Sigma principles in addition to other effective problem solving tools.
• Support launch readiness, new product introduction, and process capability improvements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in quality roles within automotive, metal stamping, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
• Proven leadership experience and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
• Experience working in a high-volume automotive environment.
