Pricing Specialist
Responsibilities
- Complete cost analysis of all product lines.
- Complete quoting process with part description, part cost, tools needed, cost of tools and lead-time.
- Ensure feasibility, costing, issue resolution, and contingency planning is accomplished prior to quotation.
- Ensure quote turn-around time is in line with company metrics.
- Organize and submit pricing proposals to Customer Service, Sales or directly to customers.
- Follow up on quotations to determine win/loss reasons.
- Prepare reports to update Management on the status of quotes and new business.
- Act as a functional liaison between Business Development, Customer Service and Engineering
- Participate in cross-functional team activities.
- All other duties as assigned.
- EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED
- SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Detail oriented, accurate, good inter-personal and organizational/prioritization skills.
- Process oriented (follow through / responsiveness/ sense of urgency).
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capable of handling change, displaying flexibility and be willing to try new ideas and concepts.
