Preventative Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Inspect equipment for wear, misalignment, lubrication needs, and developing issues before they lead to downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment history documentation.
• Service a variety of manufacturing equipment, including molding machines, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, and stamping presses.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and overall maintenance effectiveness.
• Work safely and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of industrial maintenance or preventive maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase power up to 480V.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices, including inspections, lubrication, and equipment condition monitoring.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues using a systematic troubleshooting approach and diagnostic tools.
• Self-motivated professional who can work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a strong attention to detail.
• Bonus qualifications include experience with CMMS software, PLCs, automated production equipment, predictive maintenance technologies, or certifications such as HAZWOPER and Confined Space Entry.
