Responsibilities
- Align the strategic financial plan locally by defining and outlining goals and activities.
- Prepare the Annual Operating Plan, including the monitoring of budget deviations, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development, and coordinating improvement initiatives.
- Conduct monthly and year-end closure actions, including the corresponding reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and analysis for the manufacturing location, such as budget-to-actual variances and future monthly forecasts.
- Lead the annual cost and profitability budget process for the business.
- Calculate and set manufacturing standard overhead rates and standard costs for all production parts.
- Perform product line and part profitability analysis as needed.
- Perform Annual Inventory Evaluation
- Conduct various ad-hoc financial analysis or other related projects as assigned.
- Update and maintain monthly General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations for the location through the month-end closing process.
- Monitor and ensure legal and financial compliance.
- Provide required information to Corporate Accounting for the annual external financial audit.
- Ensure the fulfillment of all legal and internal requirements regarding Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
- Preparing and filing the annual personal property tax return documentation
- Oversee the investment planning process by considering and calculating all expenses and ROI
- Conducting the fixed asset inventory bi-annually, placing new assets into service, and impairing or disposing of assets as needed.
- Lead by example in line with the organization's Guiding Principles and Code of Conduct.
- Develop employees and drive Talent Acquisition and Management processes.
- Foster a proactive and collaborative work culture.
- Participate in FNST Growtth and Lean Manufacturing Process activities to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial compliance, and auditing practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and provide actionable insights.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing cost accounting preferably in the automotive supply sector.
- Thorough knowledge of standard cost manufacturing systems and production variance analysis.
- Understanding and experience with setting manufacturing overhead rates desired.
- Experience with fully integrated ERP systems (SAP ) and Business Information databases.
- Experience preparing capital expenditure requests with related cash flow and return on investment.
- Self-motivated with ability to work additional hours as needed and perform occasional business travel.
