Molding Technician - 2nd Shift (3:00PM - 11:30PM)
Responsibilities
- Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures.
- Performs routine tasks (e.g., fabrication, testing).
- Follows instructions closely.
- Documents work accurately.
- Works under close supervision and receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles.
- Basic knowledge of material handling and auxiliary equipment (e.g., dryers, conveyors, chillers).
- Performs mold setup using standard tools and procedures under supervision.
- Familiarity with different molding processes (e.g., injection, compression, blow, thermoforming).
- Basic understanding of part measurement tools and quality inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and part drawings.
- Learning to identify and report common molding defects.
- Demonstrates basic communication skills; listens actively and follows instructions.
- Shows initiative in learning and completing assigned tasks reliably.
- Understands the importance of product quality and customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or associate's degree preferred.
- Entry Level and willingness to learn.
