Part-Time Front Desk / Pro Shop Associate (Morning & Day Shift)
Fretz Tennis & Pickleball Center is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Front Desk / Pro Shop Associate. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in keeping a facility looking its best, and isn't afraid to stay busy throughout the day.
As one of the first faces our members and guests see, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional customer service while helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Answer phones and assist customers with questions, registrations, court reservations, and program information
- Process memberships, retail purchases, and daily transactions using our point-of-sale system
- Assist customers with pro shop merchandise and product recommendations
- Open the facility and complete daily opening procedures
- Perform regular walkthroughs of the facility and courts to ensure everything is clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Help maintain the appearance of the pro shop, lobby, patios, and surrounding facility
- Restock merchandise, refreshments, and front desk supplies as needed
- Assist with light cleaning and general facility upkeep throughout each shift
- Support coaches, management, and other staff with daily operational needs
- Help create a positive, welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, reliable, and self-motivated
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Able to work independently and take initiative during slower periods
- Willing to be on your feet, walk the facility regularly, and assist wherever needed
- Previous customer service, retail, or front desk experience is preferred but not required
- Tennis or pickleball knowledge is a plus, but not required
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Morning and daytime weekday shifts
- Some weekend availability is preferred
