What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Warehouseperson position at FRESNO TRUCK CENTER?
The Parts Warehouseperson is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing parts accurately and efficiently. This role supports technicians, service advisors, and operations by ensuring inventory is properly managed, orders are fulfilled timely, and the warehouse is maintained in a safe and orderly condition.
A Day in the Life May Include:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and materials against packing slips and purchase orders
- Accurately stock parts in designated warehouse locations
- Pick, stage, and distribute parts to technicians and departments as requested
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems
- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect parts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow proper procedures for returns, cores, and warranty parts
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed
- Comply with company policies, safety standards, and OSHA requirements
- Provide support to the front counter or other departments as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or parts experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software
