What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Puller position at FRESNO TRUCK CENTER?
The Parts Puller is responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling parts for internal and external customer orders, service department requests, and shipping. This position plays a critical role in maintaining parts inventory accuracy, supporting the service department, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to meet customer needs.
A Day in the Life May Include:

Pull parts from inventory accurately based on pick tickets or repair orders

Deliver pulled parts to the correct location, such as service bays, will-call, or shipping areas

Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions before completing orders

Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming parts shipments

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts storage area

Help with regular inventory counts and cycle counts as needed

Report inventory discrepancies to the Parts Manager

Operate forklift or pallet jack (if certified) to move heavy or bulk parts

Support counter staff and service technicians with parts lookup and retrieval

Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for both internal and external customers

Comply with all safety procedures and dealership policies
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior experience in a warehouse, parts department, or automotive/truck dealership preferred

Ability to read and understand parts numbers and work orders

Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
