Department: School of Graduate and Professional StudiesReports To: Dean of The School of Graduate and Professional StudiesStatus/Time Commitment: Full-time with faculty rank, term appointment, 11-month appointmentStart Date: 07/01/2026Applications will be reviewed beginning February 15, 2026, with an appointment made by July 1, 2026, or as soon as a suitable candidate is identified. Position is open until filled.The School Psychology program at Fresno Pacific University serves the PreK-12 educational community throughout the state offering both in-person and online program options. Additionally, the program offers an approved program for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and has courses required for the BCBA available to the School Psychology program students. School Psychology graduates are well prepared and highly desired in the educational community in California’s Central Valley and throughout the State of California.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Teach curriculum within the School Psychology programInterview, recruit, and advise candidatesConduct program exit examinations and portfolio reviewsActively market the School Psychology programWork directly with area schools to develop MOUs, identify supervisors, and secure placements for practicum and internship studentsCurriculum development and accreditation support in preparation for CTCTake a leadership role in course delivery, development, and integrationContribute to ongoing program assessment and evaluationDevelop course schedule and Ed PlansMeet with students regularly, respond to daily emails and other student needsNew faculty recruitment, onboarding, and orientationPlan, monitor, and organize the assessment sequence of the programAttend department meetingsAttend monthly caucus meetings and other necessary meetingsProvide direct support to local area schools and children in keeping with the CTC requirements for school psychology faculty membersMaintain professional memberships and professional developmentConsult with School Psychology program director on a frequent basisTravel to and attend SELPA meetings, local school districts and schools as neededDemonstrate a commitment to serving and inspiring students in an academic context that integrates your Christian faith and learning.
