This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Radiation Therapist at Fresno Cancer Ctr, located in Fresno, CA. The Staff Radiation Therapist will be responsible for accurately administering radiation therapy treatments to patients based on physicians' prescriptions and treatment plans. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment, ensuring patient safety, monitoring patient responses during treatments, and adhering to established radiation safety standards. The therapist will collaborate with the medical team to deliver exceptional patient care and provide education about the treatment process as needed.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
- Strong knowledge and practice of Radiation Safety and Dosimetry
- Proficiency in handling Radiation equipment and technologies
- Experience within the field of Medicine, particularly oncology or cancer care, is highly desirable
- Commitment to patient comfort, attention to detail, and adherence to safety regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- California Radiologic Technologist license or ability to obtain prior to employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy, or equivalent qualification
