The Role

At Freshwater Digital, we work with businesses through every stage of developing, deploying, and managing digital signage networks. We are seeking an experienced and creative Project Manager to lead digital signage and audio visual (AV) projects from post-sale planning through completion while ensuring client expectations are met — and exceeded.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience in the AV or digital signage industry, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects, timelines, teams, and client relationships simultaneously. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and brings a creative, solution-oriented mindset to every challenge.

As part of the Freshwater Project Management team, you will work closely with internal departments, installation teams, vendors, and partners to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules remain on track. Job Requirements/Duties:

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and ensure alignment with client vision and expectations
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules, work plans, budgets, and documentation from kickoff through final deployment
• Forecast and allocate required resources (internal teams, subcontractors, equipment, and vendors) to ensure efficient project execution
• Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between clients, internal teams, and technical operations throughout the project lifecycle
• Act as the voice of the customer while ensuring clear, consistent communication across all stakeholders
• Coordinate and collaborate with sales, development, creative, content, and field installation teams
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and job sites across various locations
• Monitor project progress, performance, and milestones; make adjustments as needed to ensure successful delivery
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks, delays, and technical challenges
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
• Conduct site surveys and support project planning, implementation strategies, and execution readiness
• Assist field installation teams as needed, including onsite support, installation oversight, programming coordination, and punch list completion
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction and trust
• Lead and support project teams by delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring accountability
• Maintain brand, product, and industry knowledge through training, product roadmaps, and competitive intelligence
• Ensure quality control standards are met throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
• Identify and support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability
• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Collaborate with clients and internal creative teams to define project vision and translate it into actionable requirements, ensuring the final digital signage experience aligns with both creative intent and technical execution.

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager – experience in AV or digital signage is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
• Understanding of digital signage systems, AV hardware, networking, and installations
• Creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
• Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel occasionally for site visits, installations, or client meetings
