We are seeking experienced Caregivers/BHT's to join our team in South Phoenix. Work will be performed in a residential treatment setting serving male and female adults. Position Summary:

Candidates must provide outstanding client service and care with compassion and discretion. Our ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting. A High School Diploma or GED is required. The BHT is responsible for providing direct care and support for clients throughout the duration of their treatment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provision of support in an individual and group setting
2. Assisting the Primary Therapist in management of their caseload
3. Providing client support services while in treatment and in residence
4. Coordination of, and assistance with, client activities
5. Creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and client-focused treatment environment
6. Assisting clinical and admissions staff as needed
7. Documentation
8. Maintaining strict client confidentiality, HIPAA compliance
9. Supervision and management of the therapeutic milieu
10. Facilitates all smoke breaks; assuring that clients remain on property, do not engage in negative behaviors and
are adhering to time frames.
11. Facilitates breathalyzers and uring drug screens and gathers reports for clinical team
12. Ensuring client satisfaction with care
13. Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law

Skills/Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree in a Human Services related field or;
2. Associates Degree and 2 years of Behavioral Healthcare experience or;
3. High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 4 years experience in Behavioral Healthcare
4. Professional appearance, aptitude, and attitude
5. Bachelor’s Degree in health services field, or High School Diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a
behavioral healthcare setting
6. Impeccable ethics and integrity
7. Valid Arizona Driver’s License
8. Current CPR Certification
9. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
10. Computer literacy
11. Outstanding customer service skills and abilities
12. Ability to take direction and make sound decisions
13. Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times
14. Cultural sensitivity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
