The hourly range pay this position is $16.50 an hour. This position is based in Lancaster, TX. FreshRealm is looking for a Assembly Associate that will receive produce & raw foods, assemble, ship, label, and/or package foods to customers using manual assembly and IT equipment. This role must follow all safety and health standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive foods, assemble meals to recipe specifications while following Good Manufacturing Practices, and meeting health and safety standards.
- Works on a limited number of food areas, lines, processes, or items. Work is relatively routine from week to week.
- May regularly operate standard conveyor belts or multiple pieces of essential equipment (approximately 30% of total equipment).
- Package meal kits following prescribed processes and procedures. Deviation from normal processes must be approved.
- Rotate and check food ingredients for freshness. May receive products and ensure the accuracy of the delivery.
- Keep work areas/assembly clean, demonstrating clean-as-you-go practices.
- May be required to complete essential paperwork related to food preparation, packaging, or labeling.
- Required to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) as prescribed.
- In coordination with the team lead, identifies issues with Product, Food Safety, Quality, or Equipment and escalates matters to other departments or higher levels when needed.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements
- Knowledge of fresh produce preferred
- Must be able to work weekends, overtime and holidays as required
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
- Exposure to temperatures that range from freezing to sub-freezing (coolers, freezers, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach above and below shoulders; repetitive use of hands with or without reasonable accommodation
- 3 months of experience working in a manufacturing facility or similar setting preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Degree or GED
