We are seeking a versatile and highly creative Marketing & Creative Content Specialist who can bring together graphic
design, communications, proposal development, marketing strategy and event support to elevate our fast-growing,
mission-driven food service company. This role requires someone who understands the unique dynamics of school
foodservice, charter schools, child nutrition, and school districts—and can translate that knowledge into polished
materials, effective outreach, and memorable client experiences. The ideal candidate blends creativity with operational
execution, supporting everything from content creation and social media management to conference coordination,
tastings, photography, and sales support.
Key Responsibilities
• Graphic Design & Brand Development
o Create visually compelling print and digital materials, including brochures, one-pagers, proposals, case
studies, conference materials, and sales presentations.
o Collaborate across operations, culinary, and leadership teams to gather insights and present them in
client-facing materials.
o Maintain and elevate brand standards across all platforms and materials.
o Design booth displays, table setups, signage, posters, and promotional visuals for conferences, tastings,
and client meetings.
• Marketing, Communications & Digital Presence
o Develop and schedule email campaigns for clients, prospects, company events, and conferences.
o Manage social media content calendars, posting schedules, and digital marketing initiatives.
o Create sales and marketing brochures, newsletters, websites, product highlights, and announcements,
with value-focused messaging for schools and partners.
o Conduct market research related to child nutrition, school districts, charter schools, and industry trends.
• Photography, Video & Multimedia Production
o Photograph meals, events, tasting samples, presentations, and behind-the-scenes content.
o Capture and edit short-form videos (reels, interviews, product showcases) for marketing, social media
and proposals.
o Maintain an organized digital media library for internal and external use.
• AI & Technology
o Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT, Adobe AI, Canva AI, and others to accelerate design, content creation, data
processing, workflow efficiency and creative generation.
o Build, format, and maintain Excel spreadsheets (formulas, data validation, clean layouts) for proposals,
pricing, and client tools.
o Support digital organization systems, asset management, and workflow enhancements.
• Conference, Event & Tasting Coordination
Pre-Event (Conferences & Tastings):
o Support planning, logistics, and creative concepts for conferences, meetings, presentations, client
events, and food tastings.
o Order swag, manage inventory, prepare materials, and assemble swag bags.

o Assist in designing booth layouts, table displays, branded signage, and sample menus.
o Assist with pre, during and post outreach, presentations, and email campaigns.
During Event:
o Set up booths, tasting stations, and displays with a clean, branded, professional appearance.
o Capture photos and videos of the booth, samples, and engagement moments.
o Support the sales with lead capture, organization, and documentation.
Post-Event:
o Assist with post-event communications and follow-up campaigns.
o Organize and submit lead lists, photos, KPI tracking, and event summary reports.
o Update marketing materials based on event learnings.
Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent writing, formatting, and storytelling abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), with strong excel skills, including formulas,
formatting, and data organization.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools.
• Photography and video editing experience required.
• Strong understanding of AI tools to support creative and operational workflows.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel for conferences, tastings, and client events as needed.
• Experience in conference/event coordination.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A client-first mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Nice to have:
• Experience working with school districts, charter schools, school foodservice and/or child nutrition.
