Duties
- Lead and supervise salon staff, including hairstylists, estheticians, and support personnel, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism
- Manage daily operations such as scheduling shifts, overseeing customer appointments, and ensuring smooth workflow
- Drive retail sales through effective merchandising, product promotion, and client consultations
- Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, stock control, and maintaining product displays
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and budget management to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct interviews, employee orientation sessions, training & development programs to build a skilled team
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing customers
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized salon environment
- Manage POS systems for transactions, cash handling, pricing adjustments, and sales reporting
- Foster a positive team environment through leadership, communication skills, and conflict resolution
Experience
- Proven supervisory or management experience in a retail or service-oriented setting, preferably within the beauty or wellness industry
- Strong background in retail sales management, inventory control, and merchandising techniques
- Experience with employee recruitment, training & development programs, and performance evaluations
- Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution
- Familiarity with POS systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, and cash handling procedures
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and store presentation
- Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members alike
