Fresh Tape Media is looking for an Associate Creative Director to join our growing creative agency. We want someone who is constantly dreaming up wild ideas and is passionate about creative content. The ideal candidate has experience working on commercial-level creative, viral social content, engaging stunts and activations.
The Associate Creative Director is responsible for developing work that has meaningful and measurable impact, achieves marketing and strategic goals, and satisfies client brand requirements. They help lead the copy, design, tone, and direction of work from concept to execution. An Associate Creative Director must seek out new messaging innovations and technologies to cultivate new concepts and promote exciting new ideas. They ensure the timely execution of plans, campaigns, and projects to assure earnings, growth, and client goals are achieved.

Responsibilities include:
Client Contact
- Ideate, develop strategy, and pitch creative concepts to clients, with the ability to articulate the vision and answer any questions
- At times, own electronic communications with clients to deliver project updates and creative solves
- Motivate teams to execute integrated, cross-channel projects that are creatively brilliant, strategically on point, and seamlessly executed on time and on budget
- Concept and develop outstanding creative with the team, mapping out the tasks needed to implement the vision
Creative Direction
- Experience with a wide range of creative formats, including but not limited to: engaging short-form social content, commercial campaigns, brand activations or stunts, and longform storytelling
- Work alongside the team to concept and oversee production of bold and innovative creative
- Review content for brand consistency, quality control, and overall look and feel to meet clients’ needs
- Engage with project managers to ensure creative work aligns with strategic goals and target audiences
- Create engaging pitch decks that clearly communicate Fresh Tape Media’s vision
- Copywriting for pitch decks, scripts, and client communications
- Source and review Director roles for on-set productions
Creative Leadership
- Develop and inspire a passionate creative team that delivers exceptional quality
- Manage creative team members by setting expectations, providing feedback, supporting development, and addressing performance when needed
- Promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
- Ensure creative output meets objectives, follows strategic briefs, and meets deadlines on budget
Qualifications:
- 5 years of agency or in-house experience with integrated, cross-channel campaigns
- Proven ability to pitch, present, and clearly articulate creative ideas
- Engaging portfolio showcasing creative direction expertise
- Understanding of social, digital, and traditional media
- Experience taking ideas from concept to execution while managing a team
- Interest in marketing trends, social strategy, and new technologies
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and detail orientation
- Knowledge of and passion for sports and sports creative trends is a plus

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 (commensurate with location and experience)
