Route Produce/Floral Merchandiser

Job Summary

Our Travel Floral Merchandisers are responsible for the setup, stocking, and maintenance of floral and food & beverage displays in retail stores across assigned regions. This role plays a critical part in driving sales, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring high-quality, visually appealing displays in every location.

All employees are hired on an “at-will” basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel extensively (100% travel required) to support multiple store locations
• Pull product from backroom storage areas and transport to the sales floor
• Set up and maintain floral and food & beverage displays according to company standards and schematics
• Inspect flowers and plants for quality; remove damaged product and maintain freshness (including watering and care)
• Check product expiration dates and remove unsellable items
• Monitor and report inventory levels
• Clean and maintain display areas, including floors and surrounding spaces
• Ensure proper placement of safety signage
• Communicate regularly with store management regarding display status and needs
• Submit detailed reports through company-approved apps, including photos (before/after service, backstock, damages, etc.)
• Perform vendor portal sign-in/sign-out procedures
• Support new store setups, resets, and special projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year- 4-year degree required (Associate’s degree or higher)
• Floral experience required (professional floral, plant care, or related field preferred)
• Previous merchandising experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time (including overnight stays and extended assignments)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Current auto insurance required
• Ability to lift, carry, and move products as needed
• Must have a smartphone for reporting and communication

Work Location

• Education and Experience:
• Some experience with merchandising, retail sales, or floral work preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required in most locations. There are certain designated metropolitan areas where public transportation negates an employee’s need of an automobile and driver’s license.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Must be able to use/willing to learn to use a pallet jack and flat cart
• Must have the ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and reach to complete assigned tasks

Must have floral experience and willing to travel 100% with own vehicle
