What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Assistant – PPE Recycling position at Fresh Start?
Fresh Start Recycles is looking for a dependable, hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our growing PPE recycling operation. This is a hands-on position where you’ll help process, clean, sanitize, sort, and prepare reusable PPE for recycling and redistribution.
What You’ll Do
- Sort and process PPE and other materials according to company procedures
- Operate commercial laundry and processing equipment
- Wash, dry, fold, and package PPE materials
- Inspect items for cleanliness, quality, and proper processing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production goals
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and follow established procedures
- Previous laundry, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
