What are the responsibilities and job description for the GENERAL CLEANER position at Fresh Start Facility Services, INC.?
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs custodial maintenance duties including dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces.
- Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets.
- Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap).
- Wipe mirrors and windows.
- Maintain outer premises grounds, docks and fence line.
- Clean around machines in warehouse, clean, sweep, scrub floors, clean entrance glass inside and out.
- Remove trash from warehouse cafeteria and administration areas, take to dumpster and replace liners.
- Report major damages
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness
- Good physical condition and strength
- High school diploma preferred , but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
