What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Bilingual Substance Abuse Counselor position at Fresh Start Counseling Services?

Fresh Start Counseling Services is currently seeking an entry level Substance Abuse Counselor. The counselor will conduct assessments, treatment plans, group and individual sessions and discharge sessions.
Primary shift is from 3-9pm and Saturdays from 9-4pm between the Merrillville and Hammond offices.
Bilingual in Spanish is a requirement.
Certification and/or Licensing is preferred but not required: CADAC, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, LMFT, MSW, LSW, PhD and/or a degree in a related field.
Applicants may also possess entry level certification, a degree or experience in counseling or assisting people with addictions.
Previous experience is preferred but willing to train.
Job Type: Part-Time with possible full-time in the future
Salary: Wages start at $11 and will increase based on experience and certification/licenses a after 1-2 weeks of training pay at $7.25 hr.
