What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced PreK Teacher position at Fresh Start Christian Learning Center?
We are looking for an experienced Pre-K teacher to join our Fresh Start team. This current class is children ages 3-4 with most of them being 4 years old. Must be available to work these hours Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:30-1pm and Tuesday & Thursday 1030-230/345-6 . Experience working with frog street curriculum or any other curriculum.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a strong background in various subjects including Math, Literacy education, and Physical education. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Provide instruction in various subjects such as Math, Literacy education, and Physical education
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate student progress effectively
Experience
- Experience working with children in educational settings
- Knowledge of child welfare and preschool education practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to develop engaging curriculum materials
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures
- Experience teaching diverse groups of students
