Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook ingredients for menu items with care and attention to detail, following Fresh Start’s recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen, upholding food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with teammates and leadership to ensure smooth, efficient kitchen operations and timely service during daily café hours and special events.
- Assist with setup, prep, and breakdown for catering and special events.
- Take ownership of the catering program — support planning, preparation, execution, and service for catering orders, with an eye toward growing revenue and delivering memorable experiences.
- Contribute to menu development and creation, bringing forward new ideas and seasonal offerings that reflect our commitment to quality and community.
- Help elevate and streamline our SOPs, systems, and kitchen practices to drive consistency, efficiency, and excellence in all we do.
- Foster a positive kitchen culture rooted in hospitality, respect, and teamwork.

Pay: $14.70 - $16.00 per hour
