At Fresh Start Assisted Living Care, we believe every resident deserves compassion, dignity, and a true sense of home. We’re seeking a caring and dependable Live-In Resident Care Aide to join our close-knit team and provide quality, compassionate care to our residents.
About the Role
As a Resident Care Aide, you’ll live on-site and provide hands-on support to our residents with daily activities, personal care, and companionship. You’ll be part of a warm, family-oriented environment where teamwork, respect, and kindness are at the heart of everything we do.
Schedule
This position offers a rotation shift, providing a balanced schedule with dedicated rest periods. During your on-week, you’ll reside in the home and provide full-time care and supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Administer medications accurately in accordance with Med Tech certification standards
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to residents
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to supervisory staff
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident dignity at all times
Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (Required)
- Valid Med Tech Certification (Required)
- Background check (Required)
- Prior experience in assisted living, home care, or long-term care (Required)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a family-oriented care setting
- Must have reliable transportation
