Fresh Pond Animal Hospital is a four-doctor small animal practice that has proudly served our community for more than 30 years. We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to continue building their skills alongside a supportive and experienced team.

What You'll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
  • Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
  • Prepare examination rooms, instruments, and equipment
  • Safely restrain patients during examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
  • Monitor anesthesia, patient vital signs, and recovery
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostic testing
  • Provide compassionate nursing care for recovering patients
  • Educate clients regarding medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
  • Collaborate with teammates to support daily hospital operations
