What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift position at Fresh Mark Incorporated?
The Fresh Mark Cold Storage facility in Massillon, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a 3rd shift Maintenance position.
Must be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free.
Wage and Benefits
- Starting labor rate of $28.95/hr.
- $1.50 Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift
- $300 sign-on bonus after three months
Key Accountabilities
- Adheres to all food safety and personal safety requirements.
- Ensures the safe and appropriate operation of utility systems and equipment groups that include but are not limited to: Hot Water/Boiler and Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration systems, HVAC, child water, compressed air and suppression systems.
- Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining electrical/mechanical equipment and systems such as: compressors, cooling towers, evaporator condensers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, conveyor systems, motors, and forklift equipment.
- Conducts Preventative Maintenance on all assigned equipment.
- Reports actual and potential food and personal safety problems/concerns to management immediately.
- Responds to routine and emergency calls for repair and service in a timely, efficient manner.
Minimum Requirements
- A successful candidate 1-3 years’ experience in maintenance.
- Perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting (up to 75lbs, unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
- Working at heights 30 ft
- Safely use various manual, power and safety tools common to maintenance
- Handle commonly used chemicals in accordance with SOPs and SDS
