What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Fresh Mark Incorporated?
The Fresh Mark facility in Massillon, Ohio, is currently accepting applications for experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians.
Must be hard working, detail oriented, and drug free.
Wage and Benefits
- Starting labor rate of $28.45/hr.
- $1.50 Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift
- $300 sign-on bonus after three months
Schedule determined by position and will be discussed during the interview.
Key Accountabilities
- Adheres to all food safety and personal safety requirements.
- Maintains food processing, building and facility equipment through field commonly accepted techniques.
- Will work with maintenance mechanics to troubleshoot equipment failures and develop a plan to repair the failure.
- Conducts Preventative Maintenance on all assigned equipment.
- Reports actual and potential food and personal safety problems/concerns to management immediately.
- Responds to routine and emergency calls for repair and service in a timely, efficient manner.
Minimum Requirements
- A successful candidate 1-3 years’ experience in maintenance.
- Perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting (up to 75lbs, unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking
- Safely use various manual, power and safety tools common to maintenance
- Handle commonly used chemicals in accordance with SOPs and SDS
