What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Accountant - Canton position at Fresh Mark Incorporated?

Functions and Responsibilities:
- Support for daily operations within the accounting/ finance department
- General ledger journal entry/account reconciliation
- Product costing
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Interfacing with external auditors during annual audit
- Providing support during the month end close process
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
- Must be proficient with spreadsheets and databases (Excel strongly preferred); computer skills necessary
- Sound planning and organizational skills, including proven ability to prioritize objectives and duties
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred
