Maintenance Supervisor - Canton

In this position, you will primarily be responsible for providing leadership and guidance for your team members in overseeing the performance of the equipment and systems at your facility.

Core Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the efficient operation of the Ammonia Refrigeration, Boiler Steam, Compressed Air, Hot Water and Central Fire Suppression Systems
• Direct and lead team in installation, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment as needed 
• Limit and reduce mechanical downtime to keep production lines running at top efficiency
• Plan, schedule and manage up to seven technicians on your team
• Continually promote safety as a top priority  
• Provide technical assistance to all production and sanitation departments

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of practical experience in the refrigeration and utilities field
• Effective communication (both written and verbally) and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
• Proven ability to plan, organize and effectively manage people
• Strong problem solving, negotiating and decision-making skills
• Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others
