This position involves food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the counter and during food service interactions
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and cleaning equipment
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to meet food safety regulations
• Assist with stocking, organizing displays, and managing inventory
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently in quick service or fast-food environments

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and quick calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, or similar retail environments is advantageous
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities during shifts
• Must be able to work weekday shifts with flexibility for various hours as needed
