Overview
As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you’ll create a welcoming shopping experience by helping customers find products, answering questions, and completing accurate purchases. You’ll keep checkout moving smoothly while supporting sales-floor presentation and store operations. Responsibilities
- Greet customers, learn what they need, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and cash register; process retail sales transactions, handle cash and the cash drawer, and use basic math and retail math to verify payments and change.
- Recommend relevant products, support upselling, and give product demos that help customers make informed choices.
- Stock shelves, maintain merchandising standards, and build retail store product knowledge to answer customer questions.
- Your impact: Accurate transactions and helpful recommendations make shopping easier for customers and support a dependable store experience.
Skills
- Essential: Cashiering, cash register operations, cash handling, cash drawer handling, POS use, basic math, retail math, retail sales transactions, customer service, sales, communication skills, and phone etiquette.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
