Job Description:
The HVAC and Refrigeration Operator is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as refrigeration equipment, water treatment systems, hydraulic systems, air compressors, and other related systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Key Accountabilities:
- Operate and maintain HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, water treatment systems, hydraulic systems, air compressors, and other related systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with cooling processes, refrigeration, vacuum pumps, compressors, condensers, purging, and water treatment.
- Familiarity with preventive/predictive based maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical power maintenance (480V) and process controls troubleshooting (PLC level to device level).
This position requires a highly skilled operator who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation of our HVAC and refrigeration systems.
