What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker (Night Crew) position at Fresh Direct Produce?
Are you looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment? As one of Canada's Platinum Best Managed Companies, we are a driven organization seeking team-oriented Night Crew members! As a member of our Operations Team, you will work with a team to ensure our product is handled properly and in compliance with health & safety standards. Flexibility to work on weekends is preferred. Training will be provided. Full-time hours are from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am, and an additional $1.50 per hour will be offered for this shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Packing orders accurately according to packing slips
- Organizing coolers & rotating products
- Receiving and unloading products from trailers arriving at night
- Performing other warehousing duties as required
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
- Complying with food safety regulations and company procedures
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 1-year warehouse experience preferred
- Power Jack (Ride on and Walkie) experience is an asset
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in and out of coolers
- Strong teamwork mentality and practices
- Knowledge of workplace safety precautions
