Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Oversee kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients.
- Maintain food quality and safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage food storage.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations.
- Handle food preparation for special events and catering orders as needed.
- Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen operations and improve service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Lead or similar role in a restaurant setting.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of Mexican cuisine.
- Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
