Responsibilities
The Professional performs some or all of the following accountabilities as assigned:
- Managing logistics planning and optimization for efficient, cost-effective operations.
- Overseeing warehouse and distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling.
- Implementing and maintaining transportation management systems for streamlined goods movement.
- Supervising fleet management operations to ensure optimal utilization and maintenance of vehicles.
- Analyzing financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing and shipping modes.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in all areas of logistics to maintain the company's reputation.
