Job Summary
The Distribution Team Lead position leads the team of Warehouse Associates in all warehouse functions at the Market Unit Distribution Center to meet the order fulfillment needs of the Pharma and MedTech business. TheDistribution Team Lead serves as the direct assistant to the warehouse Supervisors.
Responsibilities
Distribution Team Lead serves as the direct assistant to the warehouse Supervisors.
1) Coordinate with the Supervisor to allocate manpower resources to ensure the proper and timely execution of both scheduled and unscheduled customer orders daily.
2) Lead the daily production including, but not limited to, monitoring customer order pick, pack, and ship activities, workflow, inventory issues, and daily assignments of the Warehouse Associates.
3) Ensure that all truck orders shipped are post goods issued in SAP.
4) Ensure Warehouse Associates are compliant with company policies and procedures.
5) Communicate directives and initiatives from management to Warehouse Associates.
6) Monitor and improve workflow, to include process change development and implementation, as well as monitor and observe all warehouse functions using the approved and supplied observation forms, making process corrections as necessary.
7) Participates in assessing staff performance in all job-related activities and offers feedback to the Supervisor.
8) Function as a project leader for special warehouse initiatives and communicates directives from management to Warehouse Associates.
9) Able to open and close facility, including setting and disarming alarm system.
10)Able to generate, print, and maintain adequate control of warehouse transfer order documents.
11)Observe all safety guidelines; inform Supervisor of any safety hazards; attend all required safety training classes.
12)Tasked with learning all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and be fully compliant with all regulations regarding the handling, storage, and shipping of Dangerous Drugs and Medical Devices.
13)Achieve and maintain Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC, Qualified Trainer status; serve as the distribution center’s active powered industrial equipment trainer and operate all power industrial trucks.
14)Able to function as a Warehouse Associate as needed.
15)Demonstrates leadership through active participation in committees and additional activities
