Electrical firm with sixty five years of established business, strong reputation and wide client base seeks a seasoned electrician to add to the team. Project assignments throughout central and northern New Jersey.
The right candidate is a team player who can work independently on residential and light commercial projects, troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure compliance with safety codes. Perform tasks such as working with high and low voltage systems and reading complex diagrams and blueprints.
- Installation and repair: Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures. This can include high and low voltage systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair all types of malfunctioning electrical systems.
- Code compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to national and local building codes and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of all electrical ork.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proficiency in a wide range of electrical work and experience with various electrical systems.
- Strong manual dexterity, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience using a variety of tools and testing equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and the .
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in emergency situations if needed.
- 5-7 years of related experience.
