Position Overview
Responsible for maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), coordinating procurement and inventory of parts and supplies, and performing routine and preventive maintenance across the facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and compliance with safety, food safety, and regulatory standards. The role supports facilities team with responsibilities spanning work order administration, vendor communication, documentation, collaboration with Maintenance CMMS Specialist(s), and hands-on technical work across building utilities and support systems. This is a fully onsite role, and will be part of a team that is deeply committed to the mission and the joy of making great food. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Essential Functions
- Administers the CMMS (eMaint), including scheduling preventative maintenance, generating and closing work orders, audits, and updating asset records.
- Coordinates parts procurement and inventory management for maintenance and facility operations, ensuring alignment with critical spare parts lists.
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance tasks across building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and compressed air.
- Supports upkeep of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, stackers), including documentation of maintenance activities.
- Assists with the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of internal and external building areas.
- Tracks and reports on work order backlog, PM compliance, and parts usage.
- Supports minor upgrades and utility work, including coordination with contractors and internal teams.
- Assesses and documents the condition of facilities systems and reports issues requiring escalation.
- Maintains documentation to support regulatory, food safety, and internal audit compliance.
- Participates in facility inspections and follows up on corrective actions.
- Responds to facility-related emergencies, including support during nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Ensures CMMS data is updated following new equipment installations or system changes.
- Follows GMP, allergen control, food safety, and safety policies at all times, including appropriate PPE use.
- Communicates with vendors for pricing and lead times of maintenance parts and facility services.
- Assists in the planning and coordination of shutdowns and facility-related projects.
- Supports the Maintenance and Facilities leadership team as needed with documentation, reporting, and hands-on support.

Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- 3 years experience in facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- 1 years CMMS experience, including PM scheduling and asset tracking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Working knowledge of building, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air and natural gas supply
- Ability to identify, define, and resolve problems quickly
- Familiarity with food production environments and applicable standards (SQF, OSHA, cGMPs).
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work orders while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate clearly.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong time management and follow-through
