JOB SUMMARY
The Utility – Summer Intern position provides general support for maintenance and upkeep
of Plant 4. This role is responsible for assisting with facility improvements, general labor
tasks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Interns will work under direct
supervision and gain valuable hands-on experience in an industrial setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Perform general maintenance duties, including painting, cleaning, and organizing
workspaces.
· Operate basic equipment such as pressure washers and weed trimmers to maintain
facility grounds.
· Assist with landscaping duties such as weeding, debris removal, and general upkeep
of Facility.
· Support cleaning efforts inside the facility, including sweeping, power washing, and
debris removal.
· Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work
environment.
· Assist with additional tasks as needed by supervisors and plant personnel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
· Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling in various work environments.
· Exposure to outdoor elements, including heat, dust, and uneven terrain.
· Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for specific tasks.
Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS
· Must be at least 16 years of age.
· No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
· Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
· Compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
· Competence in basic technology
