Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment safely, and ensuring smooth warehouse distribution processes. Your expertise in forklift operation, warehouse management systems, and materials handling will be vital to maintaining a high standard of safety and productivity. Responsibilities

• ·Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or manually.
• Efficiently stack and store products in their designated areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets company standards.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report damaged material to Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor prior to loading/unloading.
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together. Load or unload materials onto or off pallets/skids.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas onto flatbed trailers.
• Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation. Count and record number of units of materials moved or handled in accordance with existing company practices.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.
• Responsible for daily paperwork and proper completion of all company documents.
• Must be able to lift at least 150 pounds.
• Repetitive heavy lifting, bending, pulling and pushing.

· Additional maintenance and warehouse duties as required by Management.

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent materials handling skills with experience in load & unload operations, shipping & receiving, and order picking.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with physical strength for heavy lifting tasks required during daily operations.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
