Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to meet health standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients when needed.
- Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing used dishware during busy service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, including sinks, counters, and storage areas.
- Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with catering and banquet staff to ensure timely dishwashing for events and large parties.
- Follow all food handling safety procedures and sanitation guidelines diligently.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
