Mechanical Assembler
Location: 7475 Webster St. - Dayton, Ohio

Position Summary
THT Presses is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. In this role, you will assemble complex machinery and components such as vertical casting machines and tooling using blueprints, schematics, and standard assembly practices.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting, and working closely with engineers and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and machinery from blueprints and technical drawings
- Fit, align, and adjust parts to meet precision and tolerance requirements
- Use measuring tools and shop equipment such as drill presses
- Assist with machinery rebuilds, troubleshooting, and final assembly
- Read electrical schematics and assist with wiring when needed
- Work with engineers and production staff to solve assembly challenges
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Occasional travel to customer or supplier locations may be required
Qualifications
- Mechanical assembly experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with hydraulic systems preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Must provide own tools
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Fork truck experience or certification is a plus
