Duties
- Assist in managing daily operations across resident services, staff coordination, and facility administration to ensure smooth and efficient community functioning
- Support the development, implementation, and review of personalized care plans for residents, including those with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
- Supervise caregiving staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Contribute to budgeting processes, resource allocation, and financial oversight to maintain fiscal responsibility
- Oversee medication administration procedures and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards for resident safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams such as social workers, nursing staff, and external healthcare providers to optimize resident well-being
- Participate in community outreach efforts and foster positive relationships with residents’ families and the local community
Requirements
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments—preferably with seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care strategies, and resident’s (personalized care needs)
- Hands-on experience with care plan development and implementation
- Supervisory experience managing caregiving or healthcare staff within group homes or retirement communities
- Strong understanding of operations management, budgeting, and financial acumen related to healthcare facilities
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and home & community care practices
- Excellent leadership skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team development
