BASIC FUNCTION
The Slot Service Representative is responsible for providing consistent high levels of customer service. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control standards and objectives, and in accordance with the company’s vision, mission and values.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Must have high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (HSED).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
- Must have the ability to effectively interact with customers and associates.
- Ability to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and coworkers.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work in a stressful environment.
- Successful candidate must be an experienced, results-oriented, hands-on professional.
- Must possess an understanding of legal ramifications and implications of various associate and customer actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains a high standard of guest service within the Casino and actively promotes positive customer and associate relations by actively walking the Casino floor and ensuring excellent customer service is continually provided.
- Observes activities in the slot machine department areas watching for irregularities. Ensures slot machines are functioning properly and the machines are being played legitimately.
- Has knowledge of and enforces all policies and procedures regarding the security of monies, parts, equipment and required documentation.
- Uses effective communication tools to ensure consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through all shifts.
- Ensures professional behavior and appearance are in compliance with company standards.
- Must be able to work well with coworkers, supervisor and managers.
- Assists with slot tournaments, marketing and player events and other promotions as necessary.
- Assists with slot moves, including occasionally moving slot machines and helping disconnect power and data, as well as other slot projects as needed.
- Performs other duties as reasonably requested by management.
