Director of People Operations

FC Staffing has been exclusively retained by a rapidly growing global software company with headquarters in France and operations across the U.S., Mexico, and Europe. The company is expanding its U.S. The People Operations function is seeking a hands-on, strategic, and people-centered Director of People Operations to support their growing U.S. team.Job description:Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance, and offboarding.Manage U.S. employment compliance across multiple states.Partner with global HR teams in France and Mexico to align People strategies.Lead payroll, benefits, performance reviews, compensation processes, and HR policy updates.Champion company culture, learning and development, and internal communication.Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on HR best practices.Use HRIS or ATS systems and data to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.Support a collaborative hybrid NYC team and contribute to cross-border initiatives.Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion as part of the company culture.Requirements:5 years of progressive HR or People Operations experience.Solid knowledge of U.S. employment law and compliance.Experience in SaaS, tech, or international organizations.Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and day-to-day HR operations.Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.Experience with modern HR tools such as Gusto, Rippling, or Deel.Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Fluent or conversational French required.Why This Role Is Attractive:Opportunity to build and shape People Operations for the U.S. team.International collaboration with HR teams in France and Mexico.Strong visibility with leadership and real impact.Hybrid NYC office with flexibility.Competitive compensation (approximately $150K range).Stock options and comprehensive benefits.High-growth environment with room to innovate.
