Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Lead all accounting operations across multiple legal entities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Maintain compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
Consolidation & Group Reporting
- Lead multi-entity consolidations
- Prepare reporting packages for corporate/group reporting
- Manage intercompany accounting and eliminations
- Ensure consistency across international entities
Audit & Compliance
- Lead external and internal audit activities
- Serve as primary contact for auditors
- Oversee implementation of corrective actions and audit recommendations
- Maintain strong internal controls and governance practices
International Operations
- Support accounting activities across the US, Canada, and Latin America
- Coordinate with tax advisors and external partners on cross-border matters
- Monitor regulatory and financial risks across jurisdictions
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Foster accountability and continuous improvement
Process Improvement
- Drive accounting process optimization and automation initiatives
