The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. The District Office hosts twenty-three district level departments that serve the school sites. School sites feature many facility upgrades with vibrant libraries due to the community support of the Measure E bond. Job Summary

Medical, Vision & Dental plans are available for purchase. FUSD does not contribute to benefit costs. Dental plans are mandatory for full time employees. Requirements / Qualifications

Two Letters of Recommendation Copies of Certificates, Transcripts or Diplomas outlining related post-secondary coursework. Education: Equivalent to completion of high school with the addition of several related post-secondary vocational courses. Experience: Two years of related experience in assessing, testing, advising, or providing information to high school students, preferably regarding vocational and/or academic alternatives. Experience working in a school setting is desirable.

Applicants should carefully identify and describe all information relating to their qualifications for the position. (Meeting the minimum qualifications for a position does not assure the candidate of an interview.) Screening is based on information provided on the application. Please provide detailed information. Based on the final scores, a ranked candidate list will be established. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a final interview with the hiring administrator. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in the testing process, which may include written, oral and/or performance exams. The testing results will determine the rank of the candidates from which an eligibility list is prepared. Selection will be made from the top three ranks on the list.
