We are looking for a go-getter to be our next Body Shop Assistant!
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Must possess a high level of accuracy.
- Must be extremely detailed in daily job functions.
- Must be able to multi-task with numerous interruptions.
- The individual must also have a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under Fremont’s insurance plan.
- Parts experience and a general knowledge of vehicles is a plus.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND STANDARDS
- Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Greets customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Checks in parts.
- Inspects new parts for damage.
- Creates parts return lists.
- Make parts runs
- Give customer rides.
- Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
- Makes dump runs with and without pulling a trailer.
- Keeps the grounds and all areas of the shop clean.
- Snow and weed removal.
- Take care of trash and cardboard
- Washes customer vehicles before and after repairs, detail if necessary.
- Keeps loaner cars clean and fueled up for customer use.
- Run errands
- Assists techs with but not limited to disassembling, assembling vehicles, panel repairs, parts fitment, and lifting.
- Assists painter with but not limited to prepping, sanding, scuffing, masking, unmasking, buffing and primming.
- Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
- Attention to detail and great communication skills are a must
