Job Description
Maintain building by performing repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities.
Job Functions
- Physically respond to emergency situations, such as fire, power outage, gas or water leak, or any other emergency situation or repair.
- Perform periodic maintenance to equipment and machinery as outlined in preventative maintenance schedules.
- Perform repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities as necessary.
- Perform work assignments to complete renovation and remodeling projects.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of engineer drawings and principles.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Vocational/technical school training and 3 years previous engineering experience preferred.
- Must possess knowledge of necessary equipment and the appropriate safety standards.
- Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
- Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift. Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
