Performing Arts Center Technical Manager

Fremont City Schools is currently accepting applications for a part-time Performing Arts Center Technical Manager. This position will work as needed, starting pay $22.76 per hour.

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 185 tentative days (hourly position)

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theater or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

EXPERIENCE: Field experience needed with the technical operation of lights, sounds, and video, as well as an understanding of theatrical equipment and productions. Working knowledge in the following areas:

• Lighting systems and lighting design
• Projection systems and multimedia equipment
• Audio systems and sound reinforcement
• Industry standards related to stage and facility safety
• Software and hardware commonly used in performing arts venues
