Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A trucks with manual transmissions across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo, specifically wood chips, utilizing appropriate equipment such as front-end loaders for self-loading.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and cargo handling.
- Assist with truck loading and unloading as needed, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage or accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A with a clean driving record.
